Benefit Fake Up Review

01 August 2013

I'm quite a fan of Benefit products, I think i've loved everything i've tried. So as soon as I started seeing reviews a few months back for their new concealer I knew I had to have it especially after my love affaire with Erase Paste

What makes this product different to Benefits other concealers is Fake Up is a two in one product, which has a hydrating moisturising balm around the outside and on the inside you have the concealer. The moisturising balm has skin smoothing and plumping agents and includes vitamin E which helps anti ageing.

The concealer has three different shades, 1, 2 and 3. Being as pale as I am, I of course went for 1 its a perfect shade for me. However my first impression of the product wasn't to good, I didn't really see it doing anything for me it wasn't concealing any blemishes or redness I was having and I was quite disappointed and wanted to dive straight back in to my pot of Erase Paste.

However, once using this under my eyes I found it a wonder at concealing my dark circles and after a full day of wear there was no creasing what so ever, so yet again Benefit had impressed me! The formula itself goes on quite thick which allows you to cover up dark circles, whilst working with the moisturising balm the product does not crease or wear away though out the day!

If you suffer with dark circles or redness under the eyes I would highly recommend you trying this out!
