Urban Decay, Naked Pallet 2 swatches and review

22 October 2013

Better late than never, eh?

As i've said before i'm a bit scared to go in to the world of eye shadow mainly because i'm not very good at it. Recently i've been putting my toes in the water and getting deeper and deeper and now i'm a full blown eye shadow addict. It was bound to happen, right?

I recently got the Naked Pallet 2, because what beauty blogger doesn't own one? Well I can see why twelve beautiful, highly pigmented eye shadows all in one handy pallet. Oh and with a great brush too who could resist?
(L-R: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite.)

(L-R: Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout.)

The naked pallet is made up of 12 shades that go from neutrals to darker shades and with a mix of both matte and shimmery shades its a versatile pallet and is great for both day time and night time looks. Out of the 12 shades only four of them are matte so if you're looking for a pallet with more matte colours this might not be the one for you.

For someone like me who is just building up a collection of eye shadows I think this is a good edition  for my collection. Like I said it has a verity of colours and finishes, the shadows themselves are highly pigmented, easily blend able (making it super easy for me) and they last all day.

My favourite shade are Foxy, Tease and Half Baked all worn together for a neutral day time look and then Pistol, Verve and Blackout for a more dramatic evening look. The pallet is priced at £37 which includes the 12 shades, the double ended brush and a free lipgloss and if you ask me, its worth every penny!

Now, who recommends that I buy the Naked one, and the Naked Basic pallet?
