Balance Me Moisture Rich Face Cream Review

14 November 2013

 (£24 for 50ml*)
This face cream for 'Normal to dry/ sensitive skin' seemed right up my street and was just what I needed when I found it in the bottom of my goody bag from the Hearst Editors Event (post here). First of all, the packaging is simple yet effective, you can straight away see its a natural product which is great for sensitive skin like mine!

This 20ml sample comes in a little tube which makes it easy to dispense just the right amount of product- which isn't much, just to let you know. It has a very distinct, natural smell but I actually quite like it! The product itself however, isn't as good i've been using it for about two weeks now and for the price it really isn't that great. My skin has been feeling slightly more moisturised but only straight after i've put it on morning and night, the feeling doesn't last.

Don't get my wrong I have enjoyed using this but it hasn't done anything for my skin- which admittedly has been playing up a lot lately and this could be why. If I had paid the price of £24 for 50ml tube I don't think I would have been happy, if it was a little cheeper like a drug store moisturiser I would have been much more impressed as I think its on par with a few drug store products i've tried!

As I sad above my skins been really acting up lately so this could be why i've not enjoyed using this product, but i've changed my skin care routine up this past month so we'll see how I get on then!

Have you tried any Balance Me products, what did you like?

  1. Such a shame you didn't like it, if it's not helping your skin in the long run then it isn't worth it, especially not at that price.
I've never tried this brand x

    1. I know, I was so disappointed but i've found a new skin care routine which I like. So i'll review that soon so keep a look out!
