Clinique Anti-Blemis Solutions Three Step Routine Review

13 December 2013

About a month ago I went to a Clinique counter to see what skincare would be best for me, overall my skin was quite good I had normal-oily skin and only got a few spots every now and then however I have really bad blackheads on my nose which have been getting worse and worse since I was about 16 and everything I tried didn't work. I was recommended the there step anti-blemish solution which included a cleansing foam, a clarifying lotion and an all-over clearing treatment moisturiser.

I cleansed my face with warm water and the cleansing foam, then used the clarifying lotion to lightly exfoliate and tone the skin and then used the all over clearing treatment to motorise day and night as I was told to do. After two weeks I did notice a dramatic improvement my back heads had reduced a lot but my skin was very dry and I had lot more spots.

Due to how much the products were drying my skin out I started to use this routine as an evening and in the mornings just use some Bioderma and the moisturiser and my skin started to go back to normal an the dryness had stopped dramatically, I found the clarifying lotion to be very drying on my skin.

I recently went to a Kiehl's meet up, post here where I got a few products to help with my blackheads and the dryness of my skin which have really helped and i'll be reviewing soon. I tend to use the Clinique products in the morning and my Kiehl's Rare Earth Depp Pore Daily Cleanser and the Midnight Recovery Concentrate in the evening and this has been working really well on my skin.

Overall I am happy with products as they did reduce my blackheads which is what I wanted however they did make my skin really dry and give me quite a lot of spots which I'm still getting four weeks after trying the products. My new skin care routine seems to be working much better and keeping my skin good all round. I'm hoping to get post up about that in the next couple of weeks!

The three step system from Clinique is brought separately and cost me £51 together. However they did do a set of minis of the three products for about £30!

Do you have any Skin Routine posts, I would love to see them?
