Rimmel: Salon Pro nail polish in 391 reveiw

31 January 2014

My nails have been in nail rehab for the past month and a half, whilst i've been using Dr. Lewinn's Renuwnail to try and get them back to a normal length and strength after months and months of acrylics. Once I was finally happy with the  look and feel of my nails and I was ready to start painting them again, and thought I would have to treat myself to a new polish- of course.

I do love a berry red, so I went for one of Rimmel's Salon Pro Polishes in the shade 391: Celebrity Bash, a deep berry red which is perfect for winer! The polish which has Lycra in is supposed to be a 'gel like finish' which is long lasting, and it is.

The brush is a bit thick, which made the application quite tricky but after two coats you have a lovely deep colour which wasn't at all patchy, I found it also took a long time to dry- but my nail polish always seems to take hours to dry! The outcome was fantastic however, it was a high shine glossy finish which lasted over a week on my nails (which usually chip on day 2) so I was very impressed with this polish! I loved the colour, finish and the long wearing effect. The polish is priced at £4.49 from boots, which is a great price for a polish of this quality.

Have you tried these polishes before, do you recommend any colours?
