Soap and Glory: The Fab Pore Purifying Mask & Peel Review

21 January 2014

Soap and Glory: The Fab Pore Purifying Mask & Peel £10: Boots.

This 2-in-1 purifying mask and peel just jumped in to my basket a few weeks ago in Boots, targeted at oily/combination skin to help reduce the look of pores, what could be more perfect for me? The packaging is simple and clean which I think looks really good for a skincare product. The product itself was a lovely mint colour with tiny blue microbeads to help get rid of any dead skin. It smells really strong, fresh and clean.

You are advised to massage the mask on to skin and leave it for 5minuets for a quick refresher and 15minuets for an extreme clean. When applying the product to the skin it has a calm cooling effect when is really different to any mask i've tried and feels lovely. After taking it off after five minuets your skin feels noticeably soft and clean however my pores looked exactly the same. A few days later I left the mask on for 15minuets and my skin looked great and my pores were cleaned and less visible.

The results are temporary however, two days later my pores were back to normal and my blackheads were noticeable again, once I used the mask for 15minuets they were less noticeable again and looked good. I really like this product- it gives a good deep clean to the skin, leaves your skin feeling fantastic and really cools and soothes the skin. This mask is great for any with with oil skin who has rouble with their pores, however it only has temporary results unless you religiously use- which for the price I think its great!

Have you tried anything from the Fab Pore range?
