Friday Five: Foundation

14 March 2014

 Estee Lauder Double Wear: £27
As I said earlier in the week this is, and probably always will be my all time favourite foundation. Its a heavy duty, long wearing foundation which leaves skin with an even perfect completion which lasts all day and all night.

 Chanel Perfection Lumiere: £36
When i'm after something which a much lighter feel I opt for this beauty from Chanel its a medium coverage light weight fluid which is great for the summer. It leaves skin with the most beautiful glow to it and for a light weight foundation it lasts for a good few hours.

Mac Studio Fix Fluid: £21.50 (full review coming next week)
I've only had this for a few weeks and its already made its way in to my top five, its a medium coverage matte foundation which is build-able to give a full coverage, it hides all blemishes and evens out skin tone. It lasts for hours and leavers skin looking perfect.

 Rimmel Match Perfection: £6.99
This is my favourite 'drug store' foundation it had a medium coverage which feels light on the skin and gives you a slightly luminous glow which looks really natural and healthy. The shade range for this is really good too which meant I found a perfect match for my pale complexion.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique: £10.99
This is a fairly recent drug store purchase of mine, I was after a foundation which had a lovely glow to it as most of mine are matte finishes ( as you can see ) and this ticked all of the boxes. Its quite light weight but the coverage is enough to even out skin tone and it leaves you with the most beautiful glow which lasts a good 5-6 hours.

With my over flowing foundation draw I found it so hard to pick my five favourites and well 'Friday ten' just doesn't have the same ring to it. One foundation that just didn't make the cut was NARS sheer glow as we've got a love hate relationship, when my skins good I love love love it but when my skins even the slightest bit dry I hate it.
