NUX: Reve de Miel lip balm

25 March 2014

Although this only came in the post last week I could have done a full review on it well before that thanks to Amy. I've been using this pot of goodness for the past 6 months at university when my lips have been dry and nothing I tried could help them. I've lost count of how many times i've said 'Amy, do you have your lip balm?"

Finally, I ordered my own- I don't know why it took me so long! First up, the packaging its so lovely to have a lip balm in a glass pot, it just seems so much more luxurious than squeezing something out of a tube. Then the scent, made up with honest and precious oils it smells out of this world.

The balm itself is really thick and intense, its job is to nourish and repair chapped lips which I can confirm, it does. Its ingredients include shea butter, almond and honey which not only make up and amazing scent but also take care of your lips better than anything else could.

A little really does go along way with this, I apply a tiny bit on my finer before bed and I can still feel it on my lips in the morning, amazing I know. It also has a matte finish unlike most 'glossy' lip balms- this means you can wear it over or under lipstick and it won't change your finish.

Have you tried this yet, what did you think?
