Friday five: Eye shadow

25 April 2014

Having a whole palette jam packed with twelve different shadows did seem a bit greedy to have as an eye shadow post, but I don't own enough palettes to do a separate 'Friday five' and this is just the love of my life. I adore every single colour in this, they compliment my skin beautifully, they're creamy and dreamy. The Naked 3 palette is my go to, every day, all the time eye shaddow.

L'oreal Colour Appeal in 23: £5.99
I have a few of these shadows from L'oreal because not only is the colour range amazing, but they go on like butter. They're so soft and easy to blend in it makes doing your eye make up a dream. This colour is the most beautiful light shimmer champagne which looks great on the inner corners.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze: £4.99
These little pots from Maybelline make a fantastic base for any eye look, they are highly pigmented and last all day and all night without a crease in sight. They're are fantastic I highly recommend them for anyone who's after an eye shadow thats highly long wearing. The shade on and on braze is the most beautiful bronze shade with a slight shimmer.

Max Factor wild shadow pot in Burnt Bark: £3.99
I love the wild shadow pots from Max Factor because they're inexpensive and really compact which makes them easy to travel with. Not only that but they are highly pigmented and come in the most beautiful range of colours- however they are not as long lasting as I would like which means you need to top up thought the day!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes in Golden Bronze: £4.99
These shadow paints from Rimmel go on the eye wet with a high colour impact, leave you with enough time to blend, dry and then don't move all day. They come in a small selection of beautiful colours and are easy to apply with the doe foot applicator they come with.
